Chemainus I.R. 13 Excavations, Vancouver Island
Archaeological monitoring yielded the oldest dated deposits on southern Vancouver Island with thousands of unique artifacts and multiple burials.
Cowichan River Excavations, Vancouver Island
An excavation of archaeological stone tool site for a Vancouver Island Natural Gas project dated to over 4,000 years ago.

Deep Bay Excavations, Vancouver Island
Archaeological excavations in Deep Bay resulted in the recovery of multiple human remains including a shaman burial. Working closely with the Qualicum First Nation, I.R. Wilson Consultants Ltd. worked in partnership for appropriate recovery and analysis.
Departure Bay Excavations, Vancouver Island
The Departure Bay excavations for the BC Heritage Trail / Nanaimo Museum public interpretative excavation program, with First Nation interpreters, aimed to encourage public education and archaeology conservation.

Esquimalt Lagoon Housing Excavations, Vancouver Island
During the Esquimalt Lagoon Housing Excavations, a unique coastal semi subterranean structure was identified, dating to over 4000 years ago. One of the only three known Locarno aged house features in BC.
Galiano Island Lightguide Project, Galiano Island
Excavation of an archaeological site with 9 stratigraphic components, including a unique and elaborate pavement lined large rock feature.
Metchosin Residential Development Project, Vancouver Island
Identification of a very large archaeological site in Metchosin of a rare housepit, multiple burial cairns and an extensive lithic scatter.
Monte Creek Excavations, southern B.C.
Archaeological excavations conducted by I.R. Wilson Consultants Ltd. at the earliest dated pit house and cache pits in B.C. The Monte Creek site is deeply buried and undisturbed.

Park Farm Commercial Development, Fraser Valley
Excavated a Charles Age archaeological site located in the Fraser River Valley. Various detailed analyses were conducted, including floral, faunal, lithic sourcing, blood residue and artifact analyses.
Poet’s Cove Lodge and Spa Project, Pender Island
Three-year salvage recovery of archaeological deposits disturbed by development. Recovery included many human remains, unique faunal materials and an abundance of art objects and spiritually significant materials.
Shutters Housing Subdivision Excavations, Vancouver Island
Excavation of 1840-1911 former Songhees Reserve resulting in recovery of thousands of historical artifacts including preserved basketry, rope, wooden halibut fishhooks and argillite carvings. Evidence of trade with FNs from northern BC and Haida Gwaii, as well as early tourism industry.
Stikine Hydroelectric, BC Hydro Project, northwestern B.C.
Conducted archaeological survey and inventory ahead of a large-scale reservoir project on the Stikine River. Several archaeological sites were recorded, unique for the recovered stone tools made of obsidian quarried from Mount Edziza. The Stikine Hydroelectric archaeological inventory was also valuable for the baseline archaeological data from northwestern B.C., as few archaeological studies have occurred in this region.
