Minimum qualifications for Senior Archaeologists and Archaeologists include:
- M.A. in archaeology or anthropology with a specialty in archaeology, or B.A. with an equivalent combination of postgraduate training and experience;
- Eligible for B.C. Archaeology Branch Permit Holder or Field Director status;
- Proven ability to develop effective research design and complete analysis while also meeting budget and schedule requirements;
- Proven ability to write high quality technical reports in a timely manner.
Minimum qualifications for seasonal Archaeological Field and Seasonal Staff include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology or Anthropology;
- Survey and excavation experience;
- Driver’s license.
Core Requirements:
- Organized, efficient and flexible individuals who work well in a team environment;
- Responsible for conducting archaeological field surveys throughout British Columbia;
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home for several weeks at one time;
- Plus minimum qualifications list for either of the above roles.
